At the age of 22, XamVolo is wise beyond his years; a true artist, he oversees every element of his music, which he describes as “a messy mind over raw, dark jazz grooves”. The London native, who has resided in Liverpool since 2012, has infused the national
music scene with his unique and enigmatic take on Jazz and Soul. Naturally, Xam has quickly been championed by key industry figures such as Huw Stephens, Annie Mac, Gilles Peterson, Mistajam and Julie Adenuga as well as online platforms such as Notion Magazine and Complex.

In Sept 2016, XamVolo released the ‘Chirality EP’, was written and produced entirely by him, and demonstrates a level of musical maturity and confidence with its brooding, eclectic mixture of Jazz and Soul over hypnotic beats bringing to mind contemporaries such as Anderson Paak and Hiatus Kaiyote. The EP featured the standout singles ‘Runner’s High’ and ‘Down’.

XamVolo is currently working on his debut album, which will be released worldwide by Universal Records.
