BiBi
Saturday 29 August12:00pm & 5pm
Named after the colloquial Urdu word for ‘grandma’, BiBi is chef Chet Sharma’s love letter to his heritage, a restaurant that honours the inherent flavours and traditions of South Asian cooking, elevated through exceptional technique and an uncompromising approach to ingredients.
Every element of BiBi’s menu begins with provenance. Dayboat-landed British fish, hand-dived scallops from Devon, heritage rice varietals from the Indian subcontinent, single-sourced spices from pesticide-free farms. Nothing is here by accident. Chet’s commitment to sustainability runs just as deep, with fermentation, preservation and zero-waste practices as daily constants in the kitchen, and every ingredient used to its absolute fullest.
The result is a series of light, elegantly balanced dishes, permeated by the smoke and char of the sigree grill, progressive in technique, contemporary in design, yet filled with nostalgic flavours that transport you across India’s rich and diverse culinary landscape.
Named London’s Best Restaurant by Squaremeal, featured on the World’s 50 Best Discovery List and ranked in the National Restaurant Awards, BiBi is one of the most celebrated and distinctive dining experiences in the UK right now.
